The Minutes - April 27, 2009
Meeting commenced at approximately 7:18p.m. President Paul extended welcome to the guests. President Paul spoke briefly about the urgent refurbishing of the Literacy Project at Harbour View Primary School. He also urged members to make the necessary pledges to get the refurbishing completed as soon as possible.
The Guest Speaker for the evening was Mr. Oswald James, Attorney-at-law, who spoke on "Revitilizing Civil Society". Mr. James spoke about the importance of going back to basics as it relates to re-civilizing the Jamaican Society. He made references to situations of the past and gave scenarios in which Jamaicans can regain civility.
Vote of thanks was given by IPP Stannard.
The meeting was adjourned by President Paul at 8:50p.m.
